Custom Artwork 

How does the process work?

  • Once you have filled out the contact form I will be in touch with you to discuss your design. We will go over where the sign will be displayed, size, style, etc. to create a one of a kind piece. I often will send a few different proofs to choose from or we can mix and match to make the sign unique to you. This part of the process requires good communication of your wants and needs. 

Do you offer outdoor signage that is weather proofed?

  • I do not offer outdoor approved signs at this time. The fluctuation with weather (hot, humid, cold, rain) is very hard on these signs. If you choose to hang your sign outside, you do so at the risk of the sign deteriorating over time. 

 

What is the turnaround time?

  • Because these signs are so unique, the turnaround times vary from piece to piece. This will be discussed during the design process to ensure it can be completed in time for any deadlines such as weddings, birthdays, holidays etc. On average they rand anywhere from 1-3months depending on the level of detail and my waitlist. 

 

Do you have a waitlist for custom work?

  • Yes, I often have a waitlist for custom artwork so it is best to message me sooner than later to request your piece. Often times you can find my waitlist time frame on my Instagram page bio when it starts getting farther out. 

 

Can I expect my artwork to look just like the proof?

  • We do our best to match colors, stains and details to the best of our ability. Due to the handmade nature of these pieces there will be natural variations in wood grains, 3d details, etc.

 

Can I return custom work?

  • Because of the handmade nature of our products they cannot be returned. We are a small business and customer service along with craftsmanship is our TOP priority. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order please contact us scrapshopdesigns@gmail.com

 

General Information

Can I request a RUSH ORDER?

  • Yes, we try to work with you to make sure your piece gets to you as soon as possible. Please contact us if needing a piece rushed so we are aware. Depending on the artwork there may be a "RUSH ORDER" fee. 

 

How much is shipping?

  • Local pickup-FREE
  • Shipped items vary based on size and weight. When you add them to cart you can start the checkout process to see the shipping cost based on your location. 
  • Large woodwork can be expensive to ship as pieces can way anywhere from 5lbs for a small 18" round to 30lbs for hardwood 24" signs. 

 

How do I hang my artwork?

  • Each sign will come with a hangar attached. Depending on the size and weight of the piece the hangar will vary.
  • By hanging artwork on your wall, you are acknowledging that it meets your safety standards. We will not be held liable in the event of injury or other damages caused by customer hanging. When hanging any décor over a crib or on the wall, safety very important. Please make sure it is hung properly (in stud, etc.). We do recommend having a space between the wall and the crib/couch/bed when hanging any wood or heavy wall art.

 

Can I return a non-customized piece?

  • I only accept returns that are NOT customized. If there are any concerns with the piece when it arrives please contact us to discuss your options. scrapshopdesigns@gmail.com

 

Will you share my artwork on social media?

  • I will only share your work if given consent to do so.
